Review:
I have owned my 2005 G35 Sedan for almost 2.5 years. I have to say that I have been pleased with the acceleration, handling in curves, etc... The noises of the car are not something that have been a pain at all. I did however have my brakes replaces at 21k miles and 10k miles later I am being told they need to be replaced again. Of the vehicles that I have owned this is the only one that required two brake jobs in 30k miles.

Review:
I purchased a new 2005 G35X.Loved it at first.
I experienced the squeaky brakes at about 3000 miles. I was told by a rep at the dealership that it was just brake dust and to take it to a parking lot and slam on the brakes a few times. It was at 25,000 that I was told I needed new front brakes. After reading the reviews on numerous websites, I realized that this is not an isolated incident. Such a gorgeous car yet it sounds like a tattered old pickup.

Review:
I've had my G35 sedan for about two and a half years now and had no problems what-so-ever. I'm not sure I understand what all these people are talking about when they say the brakes are bad and the car rattles and squeaks. I have always been very easy on car brakes and with 32K miles the linings are still good for a great many more miles.

Can't think of much I'd change but with BMW coming out with a very slick new One Series soon I'd like to see the next generation G become smaller and lighter with a smaller version of the great VQ engine (VQ25 perhaps) with better mileage.

great speed
Cons:
SQUEAKY BRAKES!!!
Small back seat room

The brakes are the worst, I am riding around in a nice car that sounds like a school bus. AAccording to the dealership service department (of course after I bought the car)there are quite a few 2005's that have squeaky brakes.

Pros:
Nav system, power, looks.
Cons:
Rattle city (Dealer for some reason can never hear them), Needs a better steering setup.
Review:
Pretty good car. Lots of power but it is missing something. Maybe a lettle better connection to the road. For the price you can't beat the G. The BMW in the same class was 5-10k more with less options. Good size interior space, big enough trunk for the clubs and whatever else. Steering is a litte lose or mussy but it beats feeling ever bump in the road.
