Pros:
AWD in Canada, performance (handling, acceleration), looks, the interior on the 05 (03 & 04 were weak), FOB, actually everything.
Cons:
Brake dust on the 03, not so bad on 05's.
Review:
had a 03 Premium w/areo, now 05 x premium & waiting for the 07. Could buy anything in the class after mt 03 but after looking comparing, driving, for me I could not find anything better especially for the money. Now ready to sell my 05 soon with 6,000 miles & getting the 07. Again I could go to tohers but can't.
I have heard about some that rattles but never had an issue on either. In fact the only thing I have eve taken my car in for was the 03 for brakes under warranty, otherwise it has never been to a dealer (I do my own maintenance), which I don't think you can do on a Bimmer?

Pros:
Awesome handling and pickup. Looks amazing. Much more comfortable than Jaguar and Audi
Cons:
RATTLETRAP
Review:
Awesome handling better than BMW, Audi, Jaguar. Much more comfortable then all competitors. However my G35x is an absolute ratteltrap. Ever since 1,000miles every panel inside the car rattles. Dealer refuses to repair. Trying to get rid of car now.

G35 6MT Manual (Stick)

Pros:
Handling
Pure enjoyment
An exotic at a price I can afford.
Cons:
It will challenge you if you're a poor driver.
Some rear seat passangers find the suspension a bit too firm for their taste.
Review:
Reviews normally cover the G35s by driving the automatic transmission (AT). The G35 6MT is the manual transmission version and, thanks to my experience driving a loaner, is a very different vehicle to the automatic. Apart from the obvious transmission the 6MT comes standard with a sports suspension, a limited slip differential and larger (and better) wheels.

I've had my 6MT for 1 year & 15000 miles. Despite 30+ years of driving I am still learning how to get the best out it.

It is quite frankly an amazing vehicle. Vast amounts of power when you ask for it. The best road handling I can imagine for a sedan car. On long hauls you arrive as fresh as when you left.

The only car where I have been disappointed to arrive at the destination. Its just SO MUCH FUN! I still look forward to taking it out every day. I found the enjoyment in driving again.

G35 x after 1 year

Pros:
Performance, AWD, suspension and handling, Looks, Engine.
Cons:
Transmission is geared too high, Rattles and Creaks (very real), Interior is substandard, seats are great mind you.
Review:
I have owned this car for EXACTLY 1 year to the day. So this is my 1 year, 30,000 km later review.
The most outstanding feature of the car has to be its styling and its performance. For its class, I think it's at the top of the heap. Engine performance is great, handling is as if the car were on rails. AWD combined with Michelin Snow tires puts you behind the wheel of a tank in the winter (Important in Toronto)
Dealer experience was very good. Sales was straight up, service is solid.

Room for Improvement:
1. Rattles and creaks. Several others have mentioned this fact and when I was doing my research I read this too, but discounted them. Wrong. This car does have MORE than its fair share of interior rattles and exterior creaks. Problem is, they are not always there, so fixing is difficult. Interior is less than it should be.

2. Automatic Transmission. Needs a 6 speed auto, or better yet, a manual with the AWD. 5 speed is geared too low and on the highway at 120 kph (about 65 mph) she revs at around 3k. This is too high and uses more fuel with more wear and tear. Very real issue. Sad to see the 2007 does not address this.

3. Needs an oil pressure gage (in my eyes, more important than temperature gage) Also, a trip computer would be good.

4. Love the clock, but not a big fan of the gage cluster. It's ok, but not what it should be. Strange strange location for the AWD over-ride switch - almost at your ankle. Also, lower door panels scuff ridiculously easy. Just touch it with your shoe = scuff.

Great Car. Even better service

Pros:
Handles great...service is outstanding!
Cons:
Haven't found any yet
Review:
This is by far the best vehicle I've ever owned. I traded in a BMW and I am so happy I did. The vehicle handles much better than the BWM I owned and the service from Infiniti of Honolulu is so superior to what I received from BMW of Honolulu. The staff at the dealership bends over backwards to help me...they even offered to pick up and deliver my vehicle.
