Pros:
The power, great sound system, great looks, the interior has been
greatly improved, the 18" wheels look great. |
Cons:
I wish it came with a dedicated iPod jack. it does have an auxiliary
input, but its location is somewhat cumbersome (inside center console
armrest) |
Review:
I traded my 02 Nissan Maxima SE for an 07 G35 Journey. I was sad to see
my Max go. It was a great car, but that sadness went right out the window
the minute I test drove the G. What a car! I loved it from the moment I test
drove it. That engine, oh, that engine... It's awesome. The handling is
superb. I've noticed some people complaining about the sound system, but if
they are talking about the BOSE sound system, I think it sounds great. |

Pros:
POWER, CD player, CF drive, the styling, Voice Commands, the handling. |
Cons:
The only thing I can complain about the very little cupholders. |
Review:
My wife and I drove the BMW 335i, the small Lexus, and THE G35S. This
car has it all! You get so much car for the $$$. I built a comparable 335i
online and it was around $11,000 more than the G we bought. The power of
this car is incredible! The harddrive CD player is great! No CD cases
sliding around the car. Navigation is cool. I've had my G for about 3 weeks
now and this IS the car! Finally, someone designed a car with the emergency
brake at the feet so that you can have both hands on the wheel in an
emergency. |

Pros:
Excellent handling, great stock features, even better optional features,
power, Style |
Cons:
Doors are exposed completely to dings by other cars...no side protection
against dings. Other than that nothing |
Review:
I love this car. I've had my 3 series Bimmer for 9 years and I've never
driven another car that handles as similarly as this G35 sport. I was not a
big fan of the previous year's models design, but this body design hit the
nail right on the head. |

Pros:
Handling, engine power, interior and layout of controls, keyless entry
and push button start. |
Cons:
Fuel cap is on passenger side, paddle shifters should rotate with
steering wheel. |
Review:
I bought a G35S, Premium opt. in lakeshore slate about 3 weeks ago.
Absolutely enjoy driving this car, already has over 800 miles on it. This
car has the best combination of luxury and performance of any of the cars I
test drove (BMW 335i and Lexus IS 350). The handling of this car is superb,
it's riding on 4 Bridgestone Potenza tires, which offer plenty of grip dry
or wet. The brakes seem very strong, I just hope Nissan has fixed the brake
issues that earlier models had. The 306 hp DOHC dual intake engine is more
than enough umph, to propel this car down the highway. Need to pass, no
problem, this car has plenty of power at any speed. The automatic 5 speed
has smooth quick shifts that keeps the car in the power band very nicely. I
haven't turned off the VDC yet, I may when the car is fully broke in, and
it's time for some new tires. The paddle shifters are a lot of fun, it's
like having a manual transmission without a clutch, very cool. The gas
mileage I'm getting (18m/gl) is pretty close to whats on the sticker,
perhaps this will get better when the car is broke in and my right foot
get's lighter. The interior is fairly quite, the car has sound insulation
in the rear fender wells which probably helps a lot. The Bose stereo is very
nice but could use an equilizer. I love the MP3 playback, basiclly I can get
over 1000 songs on 6 CD's in MP3 format. The wireless bluetooth phone system
is very cool, although using voice commands to enter your entire phonebook
is little cumbersome. Perhaps a firmware upgrade could fix that. The driver
seat is very comfortable and can be adjusted a million ways, should suit
just about any average size person.
Overall this was the best buy of the three cars I test drove. Now I know
what Luxury Sports car means, or maybe I should call it a Sport Luxury car. |

Pros:
Infiniti fixed all the major problems ie. rattles, slow shifting (5AT),
weak stereo are a few that i remember from my 2003 sedan. |
Cons:
none that i can think of right now, its truly a beautiful car in and out |
Review:
The interior quality is a lot better compared to the previous models.
the stereo system feels more powerful compared to the 03 that I had, and no
more rattles! I think that was one of the main problems with all the
previous G35s. The shifting is definitly smoother and faster and the car is
obviously more powerful. The front seems to be a BIT less roomy to me for
some reason. A lot more features in this car compared to the preceding
models, the steering wheels moves forward and backward, auto settings for
seats and steering wheel, lot of safety features (ex. tells you if the roads
are icy, etc). |
