The ABS light is on and I heard a noise from engine (like small motor working)?

When Antilock Brake System (ABS) malfunction light is on Indicate problem occurred and system is deactivated until problem is rectified and light is reset. Brakes will continue to function as normal system without ABS controls.

     On the left side of the engine room is located the ABS actuator, next to the actuator is a black box 2 x 2 inches with the ABS relays, is common on 1990-1996 Q45,  All J30 and 1991-1996 G20 that one of the relays stop working properly and stays on even when the car is not running, the relay can be identify by touching and feel which is the relay that stays working. To resolve the problem the relay has to be replace, after replacing the relay the ABS light will turn off by it self. If the light stays on please contact your Infiniti Dealer for further diagnosis.

Note:1997-2001 Q45 have the same problem, but the ABS light is combine with the TCS and Slip light.
The solution is also the ABS Relay.
