Pros:
Eye catching but classy understated styling. Good oomph when needed, AWD
perfect for Wisconsin winters, has all the goodies I could ever want, even
for a 2004. when I baby it on the interstate or State highways ( 68 on
interstate, 60 on State highways (Wis. Has 65 Interstate speed limit and 55
State highway) I can get 26-28 MPG, the EPA rated this as 24 Highway so i am
pleased with the mileage with this kind of performance capability

Cons:
Mileage is considerably lower than the Camry and Altima I previously
had, but level of comfort and performance is a lot more. Not sure what those
"card holders" on both passenger side and driver side ceiling are for, not
really useful to me. could use some more storage pockets (I have DVD Navi
system so two of the storage areas are eaten up with this feature.

Review:
Purchased a 2004 G35X with all the goodies, and must say it has been the
best car I have ever owned. Some recent cars I have owned, 2005 Nissan
Altima 2.5s, 1998 Toyota Camry XE, 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Wife's current
vehicle) and I traded in the Altima for this vehicle. I saved quite a bit by
buying a used G35 versus new, and it has more goodies for less price and
more engine than the Altima I previously had purchased new. Sedan was a good
choice having a family, and the dealer has been pretty decent to work with.
Overall a pretty nice vehicle, purchased with 40,000 miles and now has
58,000 miles, only thing so far was the Sirius receiver piece went out but
dealer replaced free of charge (still under warranty). I will most likely
get another G35 (2007-8) after a few years. I may not pay 40K for a new
fully loaded X model but a couple of years old they are an outstanding value
after somebody else eats the depreciation.

Pros:
If you are one to be concerned with appearances this car is popular
right now. Good pick up getting on the highway. Fun to drive for the first
three months when things start going down hill!

|
Cons:
Tire problems, poor sound system quality, poor service at the dealerships, cheap paint job

Review:
I have a 2004 G35 Sport RWD. I will never buy another Infiniti product
after my first experience with this car.
1) I also have big tire issues but no one at the dealership will admit it's
a problem. I had to take it to the local shop in town to get an explanation
why I am filling the tires with air at least once a month. There is
corrosion between the tire and the rim that is causing air to leak out
between the two. The car is not even three years old!
2) I also got a ding from a rock and it is rusted underneath already
3) Some one mentioned the crappy CD system- I live in a cold weather climate
and on cold mornings I can't listen to a CD because the player skips
repeatedly until the car has been running for a good 30 minutes.
4) Randomly the car doesn't start. I've been out and about and several times
the car just doesn't want to start up right away. It generally takes a
little bit of pressure on the gas pedal to get it to kick on.
So glad I leased this car! Can't wait to give it back in August!!!!

Pros:
Acceleration, Bose Stereo, power, performance etc. Very quick car.
|
|
Cons:
Brakes work well, but wear way too fast. They should UPGRADE instead of just replace. Gas mileage for me has been 18-21. Could be better.

Review:
I still love this car, 2 years later. I have no issues previously listed
like noises or rattles. My car is solid as a rock and performs very well.
I expected a little more from the sport tuned suspension, it still doesn't
handle like a BMW, but the performance blows away even the 330. I recently
added a Stillen Exhaust and Jim Wolf Technologies Intake.

Review:
I purchased my G35 last September and I has been nothing but happy with
it. I still get that feeling when I see it in the garage or when I step on
the gas. I love it. I have been tracking the G35 since it came to market and
would suggest it for anyone that wants a great automobile from a great
company.
