Review:
Great looking car and fun to drive--mostly highway miles, no hard
driving. With 7500 miles, tire noise was noticeable. Now at 8500 the wear is
very noticeable and noise is worse. Roars from 45 mph down to 0. Alignment
within specs, so dealer says "that's the way it is". Sounds like a design
flaw to me. If this had been disclosed, would not have purchased. |

Review:
Did lots of research. Compared it to the I.S.350 Lexus. Infiniti had a
better price, look, feel, and handling, but the Lexus is overall more quiet
than the G35. Best bang for your buck. Would be better if the torque would
be on par with horsepower. |

huge sexy tires and wheels and killer cornering |
Cons:
the stereo speakers suck bigtime.I replaced them for 200 bucks and they
are amazing now. Infiniti used standard Panasonic paper cone speakers? I put
in Sony's and they rock. The seats are a little narrow but a pad help from
pinching my legs a little. however you need them tight around tight corners
and turns |

G35 SPORT COUPE 6SPEED MANUAL with aero package.
I have the ivory pearl 2005 and I used to own the BMW 330ci but sold it for
this car. Why?...more power (225bmw to 298 Infiniti). I replaced the air filter
with a simple K&N filter and got another 10 horses out of it, it really
opens up now around 4.5x000 rpm to 6.8. This car stops on a dime from 60 to
zero like a champ. I Take off traction control, rip around corners and
accelerate coming out of the corners or turns and can get a little spin/fishtail
but the tires still toss me in the back seat and rip out awesome power. The
6th gear is great for cruising and best of all you get tons of gas mileage on
300+ horses. I drove from Syracuse NY, to Washington DC in 5.5 hours on
the same tank. |

I have had all of the Infiniti's M45, Q45, Qx4 so I know the product
well. I bought the G35 coupe in 2005 and now have 22,000 miles on it after 1
year. The car has a nice appearance and is definitely fast. However the ride
with the sport suspension everyday 80 miles roundtrip is very ruff and I
feel every bump in the road. Also after 14,000 miles the tires were shot and
after speaking to three different Infiniti dealers they all told me that
this is common with these low profile sport tire. Since the front and back
are different sizes and also they are one way tires they tell me you cannot
rotate them. Well finally at 16,000 miles I bought a new set at $1600 for
these tires which are not common at every tire store. Overall I would say
this has been my least favorite of the Infiniti products and I think I will
try a BMW on my next car in one more year! |

Got my car in may 2005, love it, but having trouble with tires. Rd noise
took it in to the dealer, told me i needed an alignment. Got the alignment
somewhere else and told me that my camber was off on both front tires.....
Read a review earlier about the same problem, the dealer also told me that
potholes and things of this short can knock it out of line. But finding that
other g35 and 350z owners have the same problems. My tires are wearing on
the inside. They told me those factory tires are only good for 20 to 25,000
miles, don't even have that many miles on my car. Does that mean that i'm
going to have to put new tires on my every few months or yr! So dispointed! |
