SQUEAKY BRAKES!!! Small back seat room

Review:
The brakes are the worst, I am riding around in
a nice car that sounds like a school bus. AAccording to the dealership
service department (of course after I bought the car)there are quite a few
2005's that have squeaky brakes.

Pros:
Nav system, power, looks.

Cons:
Rattle city (Dealer for some reason can never hear them), Needs a better steering setup.

Review:
Pretty good car. Lots of power but it is missing something. Maybe a
lettle better connection to the road. For the price you can't beat the G.
The BMW in the same class was 5-10k more with less options. Good size
interior space, big enough trunk for the clubs and whatever else. Steering
is a litte lose or mussy but it beats feeling ever bump in the road.

Pros:
- power - style - comfort
|
|
Cons:
- Expensive Maintenance - Brakes should be recalled! Trust me every 16,000 to 25,000 miles you'll be
laying out $1000. Oh, did I mention the creaking front-end is due to bad suspension rods. Yes
my dealer alone has 5 sets on backorder. Fortunatley this is warranty for now.

Review:
I love my G35X. Lots of power, great handling. Its a pleasure to drive
myself. Its an embarrasment for passengers. Squeaking brakes, creaking
front end, Canadian NAVI that just got an update for the roadways, etc...
I harve 40000km (25000miles) and no brakes left! I was shocked as I'm a
soft driver and that its $1200 for the repair.
Infiniti feels the brakes in the 2005 G35X are perfect and there is no
early wear that would warranty assisting in the cost.
UNLESS YOU HAVE +$700 per year to set aside for your brakes, choose a
different vehicle. Our Honda for example has 70,000km and still about 15,000
left on its brakes!

Review:
Have had the car for 2 years now and have 30k miles, and I have to agree
that the brakes are a real issue that the dealer does not seem to care about
(they started squeaking a little at first to a constant squeak at different
tones at different stop times now, so no way of avoiding it) and there are
rattles that seem to travel around the car like a winter flu (here one day,
there the next).
The dealership has not been of any help and even told me this is what brakes
are supposed to do. They do wash my car for free so far whenever I want, so
they have been good about that!
I still look at my car everyday and love it, and getting behind the wheel is
something that will make you forget that stuff for a minute... then I hit the brakes!
