Trading my G35 Coupe for G35 Sedan

Pros:

Sports Car handling, luxury feel, confidence in any weather, the 54/46 balance, front-midship design and VDC make this thing feel like you couldn't lose control even if you wanted to. After driving it in the wet for just one day......you'll swear there is no need for 4wd.

Cons:

I wish it had a folding rear seat.

Review:

I don't own the Sedan yet. I own an 03 G35 coupe. I love my car, hate my trunk so that's why I'm getting the sedan. I got my Coupe the very first year it came out and I still love the driving experience however I was surprised to discover that the 2005 Sedan feels, shifts, and drives faster than the 03 G35 coupe. That's no lie. I've had the coupe for 2 yrs and I'll give you my unbiased opinion, when I took it for a test drive it felt considerably better than my coupe in acceleration, shifting, and even in the road noise. Not to mention the interior is 10 times better....Over all I love the G35 otherwise I wouldn't be leasing a second one. Try to find a better handling, more complete performance sedan that's a true sports car for the money.

Much better than the Lexus ES 330

Pros:

Performance, Bose radio, intelligent key, styling, driving ergonomics, good interior space

Cons:

Fuel economy is adequate, but not good. A little more road noise than the Lexus, and ride not quite as smooth given the G35 sports suspension

Review:

I went back and forth between the Lexus ES 330 and the G35, and I definitely made the right decision. Not only is it more masculine looking than the 330 (which my wife wanted), the performance of the G35 is head and shoulders above the 330. While priced comparably, I'll definitely get more value in driving experience. And the interior creature comforts give up nothing to the Lexus. Highly recommend the G35

Pros:

Great engine-Great suspension-Great steering- Improved interior-AWESOME traction-great sounds

Cons:

No Manual/AWD combination- Odd placement of some controls-Standard 17 inch touring tires are not a good choice.3000+rpms on the freeway-Headlights could be better, but most will not agree.

Review:

Very happy with my choice. The service has so far been excellent. This car has a fantastic engine, really works well in this application.

Possibly the mileage could be a bit better.

Review:

Took a test drive in a new Mustang GT before the G35 and what a difference! As a "boomer" the Mustang styling was very appealing to me (having owned a '68 way back when) but the new Mustang (at least in GT clothing) is the equivalent of automotive junk food. Sure it rattled and roared and made me feel 18 again but.......
The G35, on the other hand, pampered my tired old body the way I WANT to be pampered at 56! The ride is impressively smooth and quiet but at the same time the acceleration, handling, and breaking are near sports car-like. Along with upscale styling, inside and out, and a fair discount (as opposed to the $5,000. markup on the 'stang) and the G35 just had to be mine.
As for driving satisfaction, the only thing more impressive than the smooth lusty-sounding power delivery of the award winning (Wards Ten Best List) aluminum V6 is the incredibly solid and seemless control by the electronic 5 speed automatic transmission (with manual shift mode). Very impressive indeed; a marvelous road car.
This being the 3rd model year for the G35 it appears that all minor complaints have been adressed and the car has built up an impressive reliability record. The time is right and this is the car to get.

Pros:

a/c, handling, stereo, friends kids love it taught three daughters to drive it last weeks

Cons:

at 80mph - doing 3000rpms--wish gearing was taller for highway cruising

Review:

wanted the Acura TL but when the trunk couldn't handle golf bag went to Infinity and drove the G35...have 1700miles on it just now feel easy about driving it/ fun fast quiet will hang with most v8's/braking great...gas about 20...listed for 34,500 paid 32,500 radio is great thinking about a K&N air filter set-up, haven't come out hard to spin the tires/don't have to let clutch out and run 5-6,000rpms and you fly..love it..
