Review:
Bought a 2006 G35 6 speed with aero package. This is one of the
best cars I've owned excluding the huge tire wear issue. Great looks, great
performance, great comfort in my opinion and no issues...none over almost 2
years...one oil change....currently 8,000 miles. I drive fairly hard, but
8,000 miles on a $1,500+ set of tires is just unacceptable. Starting getting
noisy at 7K miles and now at 8K very noisy. The backs wear in the middle and
the fronts along the inner edge....both unevenly. Dealership says they were
desinged that way...huh...why would you design a car to produce uneven tire
wear???? Dealership also says almost $1,800 to replace with alignment...no
pro-rated discount for the huge design flaw. Looking to sell at this point.
Come on Infiniti...step up with some pro-rated break on these tires!!!!!

Review:
Coming from a CLK 320 and CL 500, I wasn't sure how I would react
behind the wheel of an Infiniti G35 coupe. I went to Passport Infiniti and
feel in love w/ the look, initially. I didn't even test drive the car, and
said, yeap.. i gotta have it.
After one year of ownership, I would say, hands down, Infiniti has won me
over. Good-bye unpredictable/expensive German reliability, hello Japanese
efficiency. The car has meet my expectations and exceeded some as well. The
car is my daily driver and has been very solid and reliable. For a every car
sports coupe, it's exactly what I wanted without spending $400 for an
maintenance visit at the dealers.
The coupe is very fast, comfortable and the features 19' sports
suspension package is excellent for aggressive style driving.

Pros:
Exhaust note, 280 hp and 270 lbs of torque, sport tuned suspension,
keyless doors, trunk, ignition, bluetooth phone and looks that won't get old
for many years.
|
|
Cons:
Road noise w/19" wheels, fast tire wear, paint chips way to easy on
front end, Bose stereo is good but not great, glove compartment fit(see
light on at night through cracks because light is always on while headlights
are on), and interior body noise from car flexing.

after 1 year of use. The car is fun to drive and gets may looks. Over all
fit and finish is very good.

Pros:
Power, exterior design, handling.

|
Cons:
Head room, seat adjustment location, interior materials.

Review:
This is my first Infiniti, and I am pretty impressed. I totally dig the
power and the low gumble at start-up. The handling is also exceptional. As
much as like the car, I hope they can fix some of the interior design flaws.
The location of the seat controls are in an awkward position. They are
difficult to see and use, plus the plastic housing around them presses
against my leg when I am driving. On long trips it is very uncomfortable.
The head room is a bit to be desired. I am only 6'1", but when I hit a bump,
on ocassion, my head hits the roof. Outside of some interior problems, in
all it is a great car. However, I think I may opt for the Infiniti FX next
time.
