Pros:

Styling, performance and value for the dollar. All that plus Infiniti quality and great dealer service (Alta Infiniti in Woodbridge). Not to mention the "fun quotient"

Cons:

No arm rest in center in the back/no trunk pass thru for longer items without having to fold the rear seats. No separate 12V plug for cell phone charger. Cosmetics really and easily forgiven although they would be nice to have!

Review:

I had a 2003 G35 Sedan previously because the coupe wasn't out when I got it in 2002. The overall package is fantastic; great looks, awesome performance, reasonable fuel usage day to day and Infiniti quality and reliability. I bought the 2006 M6 package with the 298 hp / 6 speed. The car never fails to leave a smile on my face. My wife, who insisted I should get the coupe by the way (eat your hearts out guys), drives it too and she always has a blast. I know some people mourn the fact the Brembo brakes are gone but from what I have heard they where troublesome anyways... The car corners like it is on rails, stops on a dime (even without the Brembos) and nails you to the back of the seat when you stomp on the long pedal on the right. More than one person has said that it is "one sexy car". I love it!

>Great stock handling
>Potent VQ powerplant
>Aggressive exhaust note

Cons:

>No Brembo brakes for 6 speed
>Minimal seat height adjustability for taller drivers

Review:

I fell in love with every aspect of the G35 coupe from the first time I saw it in late 2003. I was in the market earlier this year and I went to my Infiniti dealer thinking I might finally have the car of my dreams. I saw a black on black 6 speed coupe without the wing. This is definitely the perfect car for.......wait where's the Brembo brakes?? The dealer explained that they discontinued the Brembo brakes due to high maintenance costs or something lame like that. Whatever!
I could deal with the standard brakes so I continued to the interior. Everything looked good inside until I actually sat down. Being a 6'3" corn-fed American, I immediately reached for the seat adjustment buttons to drop the seat bottom down. The seat dropped a little but not enough to keep my head from feeling uncomfortably close to the headliner. Even after reclining the seat back the seating position was still awkward. Either I was leaning too far back or sitting too close to the headliner.
I couldn't believe it!!! My dreams were shattered. Sure I planned on replacing the stock seats with racing buckets anyway, but who wants to rely on that when you are committing to a near 40k purchase? I sure don't. Hopefully someone at Nissan is listening to my plea! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put a higher level of adjustability in the seats of the 2007 G35 coupe and I will be your friend forever!!
Oh and......bring back the Brembos on the coupe!

Thanks in advance for a great car!

Pros:

Stylish exterior. Impressive performance. Fun-to-drive factor. HID projectors new for '06. Bluetooth.

Cons:

Paint quality leaves a LOT to be desired. Needs better gear synchros. Interior storage compartments are all too small.

Review:

I can't sit behind the wheel of this car and not grin ear-to-ear. It's a blast to drive. The exterior styling is fantastic and garners plenty of attention when out on the road. Acceleration is very spirited and handling is impressive in light of the cars weight. HID projectors are a significant improvement for '06. Bluetooth handsfree phone feature is not only convenient, but necessary in the 6MT.

The paint quality is BY FAR the worst of any car I have ever owned. After 6 months of ownership, my front bumper is in worse condition than almost every other car I've owned after 3-5 years. Other gripes include:

-Interior storage compartments that are all too small to be very useful
-Rear seat power entry assist is very slow
-Sunroof closure is very slow
-Bose system is not worth the additional cost
-Poor fuel economy (19mph)is a harsh reality
-No hydraulic hood dampers
-VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) can be intrusive at times
-No Intelligent Key with 6MT
-No power side rear-view mirror as part of seat memory
-Could definitely benefit from more/better synchros
-Changing any bulb in the headlight assembly is very inconvenient

Pros:

New spoiler. Bluetooth is sweet, sept you look crazy talking to yourself...Who cares. Exhaust. Left that cop sayin' "Which way did he go?" INTELLIGENT KEY...Sweet.

Cons:

Why did they take away the extra cig. lighters/ power outlets. I used to plug my aftermarket navi into one and still had room for my cell charger. Still no height adjuster for the seatbelt??

Review:

I've just upgraded from the 2003 to the 2006, and I think that overall, the car is still awesome! Nothing beats the sound of this baby...unless you have a Ferrari, of course. I was a bit disappointed about the removal of the vertical parking lights. It really set the g35 apart from all the other autos (around 6pm) out there. They've replaced the plastic center console with aluminum fixin's; you cant scratch the paint off them now. I like the seatbelt clips, now I don't have to lay the seat back and reach for the seatbelt in the back seat. Little things like putting the gear screen to the top of the HUD is much better, although why swap the RPM & MPG; Engine temp & Gas gauges? I've been going around thinking I had a half-tank-a-gas ...I'm too picky, let me shut up. GO GET ONE?

VALUE!!!
Above-average performance.
Appearance.
Impressive navigation system.
Exhaust!

Cons:

Lower than expected build quality.

Review:

I am most impressed by the value of this car. Projectors, bluetooth, navi, are all very top-end luxury goods but are avaliable at such a low price. And the appearence, one word, unmatched.
Performance is above-average for the price.
Build quality is lower than my expectation
