Infiniti Announces Pricing on 2005 FX45/FX35GARDENA, Calif. (October 15, 2004) ? Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc., today announced 2005 model year pricing on the breakthrough Infiniti FX45 and FX35 premium crossover sport utility vehicle (SUV). The Infiniti FX returns in 2005 with its unique blend of uncompromising style and luxury in a technically advanced, performance crossover SUV.The all-wheel drive FX45, with its standard 315-horsepower V8 engine, 5-speed automatic transmission and long list of luxury features, starts at a Manufacturer?s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $45,250. The FX35, equipped with a powerful V6 engine, features a MSRP of $36,250 for the all-wheel drive model, while the rear-wheel drive FX35 begins at a MSRP of $34,750. The changes to the FX for the 2005 model year are led by enhancements to its safety features, including rollover sensor, Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and the availability of a new Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system. LDW works to alert the driver to any unintended movement of the vehicle out of a designated traffic lane. The FX is the first passenger vehicle application of LDW in North America. In addition, all FX suspensions are retuned for improved ride comfort.
