There is no point of doing a pro/con on a sports car. We love it, period.

Cons:
none.

Review:
We just bought this car used. The (Ford) dealer did a great job of prepping the car and took care of a couple of minor issues without any hesitation, then gave us a
great price on the car.
The car is a pleasure to drive. The suspension is a little stiff of course, but with a sports car that is to be expected. The seats
do a great job of keeping us comfortable under all road and driving conditions. The steering is precise with just the right feedback, the brakes are powerful yet easy
to modulate. Then the engine is perfect. We also have an Altima V6 with a very similar engine. The Altima is smoother yet very strong. The car is no slouch. Yet, the
engine in the G35 is just ready to snap your head. The difference in response is significant. The car is just a ton of fun to drive when your mood is set for fun. It
is also great to drive slower and we enjoy both.
The car is also beautiful in a slightly understated way. It is not "in your face" like an American muscle
car, but it is very elegant.

Review:
2004 G35 Coupe MT6. I just had my 7 year anniversary, I am the original owner. Diamond Graphite paint w/ charcoal interior. Fully
Loaded with Premium, Aero, Perf. Tire & Wheel, Navagation & Satellite Packages. I've installed 3M clear protection package & clear
corners.
I love driving this car, but wish it had the extra ponies of the latest G's. I'm considering some Stillen products like the intake and
throttle body plate, but have not pulled the trigger yet since I am worried the trade off for a few ponies may be losing this wonderful
exhaust note... one word... FANTASTIC!
The styling is still current, and in my opinion a lot more masculine looking than the current G37. I don't understand why they lux'd it up
like they did, looks more feminine to me... Infiniti must be going for the female market.
Stock summer tires stick well... but wear fast due to soft compound? I would classify myself as a spirited driver, but don't flog the car
too hard. I replaced front Michelins at around 24K miles with a used set. I figured since fronts were wearing twice as fast as the rears,
a used set of fronts would be done by the time the rears were, then I would replace the entire set. I was right. I ended up trading some
dry handling by going to a high performance all-season tire (Brigestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position) since I am in the Pacific N.W. w/
the rain. I chose these tires based on good reviews in Tirerack.com. These tires ride very nicely, grip well for my needs and quell some
of the tire noise this car is known for.
Many people in the forums have complained about the Brembo brake wear... I had no issue with this, and can only surmise it has to do with
driving habits. Some stated getting only 20K on a set of fronts, I just replaced all my pads at 52K miles. I went to Powerstop Evolution
Ceramics, and these have worked fantastic for me. They bite well, and have virtually no dust as compared to the stock pad compound. My
wheels are thanking me. I also opted for upgrading to drilled rotors which not only run cooler, but look great behind my wheels.
Problems... other than minor buzzing from rear view mirror mount area (which I've read there is a TSB for), my biggest concern is the CD
player that skips and does not track right. This is a known issue and I will someday get the nerve to disassemble the console to extract
the unit to send in for repair ($200+ fix from what I've read).
Servicing... I've done my own minor & major services, everything from oil changes, sparkplugs, and drivetrain services are fairly straight
forward. The biggest problem is finding the Nissan Manual Trans fluid (MTF) for the tranny. I found NO local dealers that stocked quarts
for sale, so I had to special order it on the web. It is a GL-4 rated fluid, so I wanted to stick to factory fluid since most aftermarket
brands are GL-5 (which could case problems from what I've read). I've since read that Redline and Royal Purple may make a compatible trans
fluid... maybe next time I'll look into this.

Pros:
Great motor that responds to simple bolt on mods and tuning (COBB AP on mine) to get some more ponies to the road. Speed -
155 limited, they mean it. Torque - 90% of peak from 1800 to 6200 rpm, rev top changed on mine to 7400 rpm for some headroom.
Interior depends on taste and MY, I like the '04's and you cannot beat the Brembo brakes for less than a few grand with AM brakes.

Cons:
Cost of maintenance. It's Entry Level Luxury, so not worse than a comparably priced 3-series. If you drive it hard, expect the OEM
clutch to go early, buy up into light 19's and put a 275 width rear, 245 F tire on it, or you will shred rears.

Review:
No surprise in JDM land this is the Skyline GT350. It's a sports-car based Coupe, not a 2-door sedan. Suspension is excellent and on
par with my 2003 350Z. Exhaust note OEM is best I've owned - note for some reason my car was early 2004 and came with full 3" cat-back
exhaust. Dropped 20 lbs off the flywheel plus a JWT clutch, brought out a whole new rev-happy monster from already a free-revving
engine.
