Pros:
Very good handling, braking, acceleration. Very reliable
|
Cons:
Noisy, poor mileage, drinks engine oil, bad Bose radio caused leak to battery, difficult to replace (access) parts due to poor design. The starter
took me total over 3 hours due to limited access. Replacing spark splug is also lengthy, again, due to poor access. The fuel damper has limited access
again. Routine maintenance becomes a big chore due to poor design of the car.

Review:
I have slightly over 100K on my car now. The biggest problem I have was the Bose radio caused the battery which many owners have experienced. Mine
happened in 2011 and it caused me a lot of headhaches. Other than that, I replaced my starter in 2011 also. Recently, the fuel damper is making noise
and I think I need to replace that. I checked its position this past weekend and it seems like a bitch to replace. I have very little access to the hose
which goes down to the side of the car next to the engine. I will do some research to find out whether there is an easier way. I thought perhaps I can
just replace the valve, but the hose attached to the valve seems to fused on to it.
My G is a very reliable car and I am happy with it

Pros:
Very good value, excellent powertrain (especially with the 6MT), reliable & a blast to drive.
|
Cons:
Poor placement of the center console/cup-holders, not very good in the snow unless you have the AWD model.
|
Review:
I have the 6MT Sedan with Aero/Premium package & a few "go-fast" parts (intake, fuel/spark, exhaust, speedbooster). I've owned this ride
for almost a year and have read quite a few forums from other owners; and I tend to agree with the great majority of the comments. For those
who have endured a bad experience with the G35, it's truly unfortunate because the vast majority of owners are generally satisfied. I drove
both the 6MT and the manumatic prior to purchase, and in my humble opinion the 6-speed manual definitely raises the "fun-factor". But poor
placement of the cup holders for the front passengers is inconvenient, mysterious leaky tires generally due to temp changes, and a few fit
and finish issues diminish an otherwise excellent value in a sports sedan. So it doesn't handle quite as good as a BMW, or ride quite as
nice as a Mercedes, but factor in an excellent powertrain with upscale levels of luxury, and the G35 is hard to beat in terms of value.
I've never experienced any oil consumption issues, reliability issues, or poor fuel economy. In fact, if I lay off the accelerator and
drive frugally, my G35 actually returns pretty good gas mileage considering it' a "sports" sedan. I use full synthetic fluids in the engine,
tranny, & differential.
All in all the G35 exceeded my expectations and I would certainly recommend it to folks looking around for good value in the used car
market.

G35 - Love the 6 speed By Bill from Portsmouth, RI |

Pros:
Acceleration/high performance engine; sleek looks; leather & luxury amenities; very good value...most cars in class
with similar or slightly worse performance have much higher price tag!
|
Cons:
Interior noise/rattles; CD player not working properly upon start up in cold weather; location of cup holders/console on the 6spd manual model
|
Review:
I bought a 6speed manual black on black leather G35. Overall, it's the best car I've owned due to the high performing engine and great looks.
However, I have noticed some of the common minor complaints mentioned by other reviewers including: interior noise/rattles; CD player skipping in
cold weather, until the car is thoroughly warmed up; tire pressure issues, i.e. slow leak...have to fill monthly, unrelated to the tires (brand new
Eagles with no defects), but the strangest one of them all that hasn't been mentioned, is the location of the coffee cups/console...perhaps only in the
6spd manual model; however, they are located at a 45 degree angle BEHIND the driver. That's what I get for trying to shift and drink coffee at the same
time! Again though, the car is so much fun to drive that it outweighs the inconveniences noted above.

Pros:
power train. looks. value. cost to own
|
Cons:
ride, build quality
|
Review:
I like my G, not love it. It has a lot of interior, room, the power train is second to none, and it looks absolutely beautiful. Now the
negatives. The cars fit and finish is just o.k. There a plenty of rattles, like the windshield, and driver window. The car's ride is not that great
either. It is a little too bouncy, and harsh for me. If I could take the ride, and build quality of a E320, the handling of a 330i and the power
train of my G, I would have the perfect car!!! Until the y make this, I am stuck with my G.

Pros:
Tight ride and great looks. BOSE sound. Driver cockpit. POWER.
|
Cons:
None yet. Brake dust if any. But this is expected with high performance vehicle.
|
Review:
First off. Looks are head turning. Midnight blue with spoiler and chrome accents is very attractive. Inside, materials are as
expected. Refined and driver friendly. Even passenger friendly with rear ac/heat and reclining seats and one touch window controls. Lots of storage
space. Steering controls are easy and intuitive. Airbags everywhere. Trunk is huge with full size spare. Now about performance.
This car is kicking and ripping and fast out of the gate at low RPM's all the way through the cycles of gears.0-60 in around 6-6.2
for me. It grabs the road nicely and corners without dipping and rolling. I do have Bridgestones all the way around, tires make a difference. SO far,
extremely happy with this car. Having owned 5 Nissans (Sentra, Altima, frontier, pathfinder le and maxima gle) and a few Toyotas (Camrys) and
Hondas (prelude coupe and accord coupe v6)as well as sls caddy...this is tops for sure. The best thing was buying it with 63k for only 16900. off
lease and in beautiful condition. Buy your cars 3-4 years old and you will come out nicely on $$$.
