Review:
I purchased a new 2005 G35X.Loved it at first. I experienced the squeaky brakes at about 3000 miles. I was told by a rep at the dealership that
it was just brake dust and to take it to a parking lot and slam on the brakes a few times. It was at 25,000 that I was told I needed new front brakes.
After reading the reviews on numerous websites, I realized that this is not an isolated incident. Such a gorgeous car yet it sounds like a tattered old pickup.

Review:
I've had my G35 sedan for about two and a half years now and had no problems what-so-ever. I'm not sure I understand what all these people are talking
about when they say the brakes are bad and the car rattles and squeaks. I have always been very easy on car brakes and with 32K miles the linings are still good
for a great many more miles. Can't think of much I'd change but with BMW coming out with a very slick new One Series soon I'd like to see the
next generation G become smaller and lighter with a smaller version of the great VQ engine (VQ25 perhaps) with better mileage.

Review:
The brakes are the worst, I am riding around in a nice car that sounds like a school bus. AAccording to the dealership
service department (of course after I bought the car)there are quite a few 2005's that have squeaky brakes.

Pros:
Nav system, power, looks.
|
|
Cons:
Rattle city (Dealer for some reason can never hear them), Needs a better steering setup.

Review:
Pretty good car. Lots of power but it is missing something. Maybe a lettle better connection to the road. For the price you can't beat the G.
The BMW in the same class was 5-10k more with less options. Good size interior space, big enough trunk for the clubs and whatever else. Steering
is a litte lose or mussy but it beats feeling ever bump in the road.

Pros:
- power - style - comfort
|
|
Cons:
- Expensive Maintenance - Brakes should be recalled! Trust me every 16,000 to 25,000 miles you'll be laying out $1000. Oh, did I mention the creaking
front-end is due to bad suspension rods. Yes my dealer alone has 5 sets on backorder. Fortunatley this is warranty for now.

Review:
I love my G35X. Lots of power, great handling. Its a pleasure to drive myself.
Its an embarrasment for passengers. Squeaking brakes, creaking
front end, Canadian NAVI that just got an update for the roadways, etc...
ft driver and that its $1200 for the repair.
nfiniti feels the
brakes in the 2005 G35X are perfect and there is no early wear that would warranty assisting in the cost.
UNLESS YOU HAVE +$700 per year to set
aside for your brakes, choose a different vehicle. Our Honda for example has 70,000km and still about 15,000 left on its brakes!
