Pros:
- THE "KICK" IT HAS WHEN YOU ACCELERATE (ITS LIKE A FIERCE LION WHICH WILL STOP AT NOTHING) - THE ENGINE SOUND (PEOPLE SAY IT SOUNDS LIKE A TRACTOR, BUT THATS
THE REAL SOUND OF A SPORTS CAR) -VERY ELEGANT INTERIOR - SMOOTH HANDLEING
|
Cons:
- AT THESE GAS PRICES, PREMIUM GAS IS A BIT THOUGH TO PAY FOR

I HAVE A 2005 INFINITY G35 WITH 147,000 MILES ON IT, AND I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE FRONT SUSPENSION "CREAKING". YEAH THE BRAKES WEAR OUT, BUT ITS MAINLY
DEPENDENT ON THE DRIVER, IT PISSES ME OFF WHEN OTHER PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT BRAKES AND BLAME IT ON THE CAR ! REALLY ?! ANYWAYS, I DO AGREE THAT THE MAINTAINENCE IS A
LITTLE COSTLY AT THE DEALSERSHIP, BUT WHO IS ASKING YOU TO GO THERE. I PERSONALLY BUY THE BRAKES, OIL, AIR FILTER AND ANY OTHER REPLACEMENT PARTS AS NEEDED. OF COURSE
THE DEALER WILL RIP YOU OFF. IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THOSE KIND OF THINGS, TAKE THE CAR TO A MECHANIC, ANY PLACE OTHER THAN A DEALERSHIP (UNLESS YOU'RE REQUIRED
BECAUSE YOU'RE PAYING OFF THE CAR).

Review:
The 2005 g35 is a beautiful car, and in my opinion the best in class for overall appearance and performance (against Acura TL, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4/6).
HOWEVER - I was also believed this car was the best value in the class. I no longer believe this, nor do I trust Infiniti. The brakes are horrible (particularly on the
AWD model), and Infiniti's resolution to the problem is shameful for a 'luxury car company'. Every 20k-25k miles the front brakes and rotors need to be replaced. This
is not a normal cost of owning a car, even though Infiniti claims it to be. For some reason (probably the numerous law suites), they recognized the problem on the
03-04 model and extended special brake coverage to these owners. 2005 g35x owners were not extended such a courtesy, and are instead asked to spend $600 on front
brakes every 20k miles.
The cost of ownership of this car is much more than I had expected. if you maintain at a dealer expect to be recommended some
filter (ex: $100 installed HVAC filter every 10k miles) / fluid with almost every oil change) -> add about $2000 to the annual cost of ownership of your car just
to update filters, fluids and brakes.
Friends with BMWs get everything covered, including brakes, through the warranty period. It seems to me that other
automakers value their customers after the sale more than
Infiniti.

I have a 2005 G35 sedan, is car cost me about 19gran and only had 16000 mileage on it, this car is really powerful I love the engine sounds, and how you switch it to 6
speed manual, just unbelievable, I love this car, rides smooth, has sunroof, but this car I love it, and I think this car is the best out of all for a sporty luxury sedan
